Consultative services are availble to school district and interagency partners in Carver and Scott counties.

Early Childhood Behavior Specialist &
Early Childhood Therapist
The EC Behavior Specialist and EC Therapist provide social-emotional behavioral assessment and support to children and their families within Carver County.  Services are available to children, through 6 years of age, and is intended to provide support within the home, school and childcare settings.

The EC Therapist
also provides support to mothers experiencing post-partum depression in both individual and group settings.  These services are provided in collaboration with Carver County Community Social Services.

Help Me Grow Carver County
This is an information and referral service designed for families with young children, birth to age 6.  Early childhood professionals or families working with children who may be at risk for developmental delays, experiencing developmental delay(s), or may have an identified disability are able to call for information about local programs and services.  An Interagency Resource Specialist provides information about local resources to families, to school district staff and to other local agencies, as well as training and outreach for professionals working with children, birth to age 3.

Help Me Grow Carver County serves as the central point of intake for referrals of children from birth up to age 3 in Carver County.  Help Me Grow staff gather basic family information and insure that the family is connected with the appropriate school district evaluation team for referrals for children age 3 and above, which are made directly to the child's school district.
