The Carver-Scott Educational Cooperative, in collaboration with Carver County Interagency Early Intervention Committee, provides information, referral, and services for Carver County families with children from birth to six years.

First Step Help Me Grow
An information and referral service designed for families with young children, birth through age 6. Families may have a question about their child's development or about community resources, may have a child at risk for developmental delays, experiencing developmental delays, or a child with a handicapping condition.  First Step offers families in Carver County a central intake into interagency services and the only entry into early childhood special education.

First Step provides assistance to parents in accessing and planning for services such as:

  • Screening & Developmental Evaluation
  • Early Intervention Services
  • Speech & Language Therapy
  • Physical & Occupational Therapy
  • Early Childhood Special Education
  • Behavior Services
  • Family Education
  • Social Services
