Carver-Scott Educational Cooperative offers in-school students a variety of day programs, before-school or after-school options to get additional support to be successful in school:  

  • ALC Targeted Services are provided to districts within their individual school district sites.  Elementary and middle school students who are identified by parents and/or school staff as needing additional support to be successful in school are eligible to be served in a before-school or after-school ALC Targeted Services program.  The whole-learner needs of each student are examined before the student is entered into the program, and his/her own learning plan is established.  Programs available at: Belle Plaine, Chaska, Cleveland, Glencoe, Jordan, LeCenter, Montgomery, New Prague, Norwood, Prior Lake, Shakopee, Waconia, Watertown.

  •  Extended Academic Day programs serve in-school students who are short of credits needed to graduate.  Students earn credits through a combination of outcomes, hours of attendance and completed work.  Programs are available at Chaska, Waconia, Watertown, New Prague, Belle Plaine, Jordan, Shakopee, and Montgomery.

  • Belle Plaine Dist. 716 - Learning and Career Development Lab provides an alternative approach to achieving success in both academics and career development for all youth.  The lab acts as the medium for a successful transition from school to work, or to a post-secondary institution.

  • Jordan Dist. 717SAIL program provides services to middle and high school students, helping them to achieve their educational goal of a high school diploma.

  • New Prague Dist. 721 - Learning Resource Lab provides individualized educational assistance to high school students who need an alternative learning approach.  Programming includes development of basic skills, preparation for graduation standards testing, credit make-up, and activities that promote a successful transition from school to career.

  • Shakopee Dist. 720 - Connections is a senior high alternative program which provides individualized educational assistance for students who need an alternative learning approach.  Programming includes credit recovery, development of basic skills, and activities that promote a successful transition from school to career.
