New Beginnings, located in Chaska at the East Creek Family Center, is a comprehensive interagency program supporting pregnant and parenting teens and their families to obtain their high school diploma.
Students create a plan for healthy pregnancy, safe childbirth, and an effective plan for adoption or healthy attachment with their children. Students also learn independent living skills and develop a productive career plan for self-sufficiency. Child Care is available on site.
"The teachers make me want to do better for myself and to want better for my kid. Without this program and the on-site child care, I would have never finished high school, let alone continued on to college."
