In Scott and Carver County, a licensed Carver-Scott Educational Cooperative Adult Basic Education teacher conducts workshops, seminars and classes for Workforce Center participants. Carver-Scott Educational Cooperative Adult Basic Education can provide any job seeking skills instruction to Workforce Center participants except Job Club.
Eligibility and Referral Requirements
In order to provide work-focused content, the student must:
(1) Be 16 or over and not enrolled in public (K-12) school; and
(2) Be referred in writing by a state or local governmental agency such as a Workforce Center, workforce investment board, or MFIP providing agency, specifically for any one or more of the content areas noted above.
