What is District 930?

What do we do?

Formed in 1976, CSEC provides programming and services from prenatal care through adult education. CSEC is noted for quality EDUCATIONAL programs, PREVENTION programming for students at risk, INTERVENTION and REFERRAL services for youth and adults to collaborative partners.

CSEC provides high school education completion programs, career and technical education, education and employment support for youth and adults with disabilities, a sober school for high school students, a Family Center for teen parents and their children, and individual community learning centers.

Because our students present unique needs, comprehensive SPECIAL EDUCATION is available to qualifying students from birth through age 21 enrolled in CSEC programs and within the schools of our member Districts.

   How is CSEC funded?

Our main sources of revenue over the last 30 years have come from state, federal and school districts. The unique needs of the CSEC students include mental health, chemical health, daycare, and employment services. We have been very fortunate to have strong collaborative partners that have assisted us, along with our ability to augment our needs with several grants secured through a number of different agencies.

Unlike other districts, CSEC cannot secure a tax levy to support our programs.
