History
Advisory and Management Teams developed the original vision of a Family Center over many years. Participating agencies and organizations were committed to improving parenting education, providing educational opportunities, providing support services for families and creating a "one-stop-shop" for services.
Summer 1997: The City of Chaska received a grant to purchase the site-once a foundry converted to a factory, soon to be a Family Center. A Carver-Scott Educational Cooperative Career & Technical program called YouthBuild began the renovation of the site.
